Photo License Terms

Last updated August 27, 2026

Personal license

A personal license permits the buyer to use the downloaded image for private, non-commercial purposes. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale, sublicensing, trademark use, or redistribution of the original file.

Commercial license

A commercial license permits use in the buyer’s commercial materials for the scope described at purchase. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale of the unmodified source file, sublicensing, or use that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing.

Printed products

A completed license or ownership of the photo is required before using it in a Natural Exposure custom product. Buying a printed product does not grant separate rights to the underlying digital image.

Ownership and enforcement

The photographer retains copyright. Licenses are non-exclusive unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. Unauthorized use may terminate the license.
